ABOUT
Industrial Machine & Tool Company began operations in 1914 under its founder, Robert H. Chilton, Sr. What was then a small machine shop on 4th Avenue in downtown Nashville, today has grown into a large operation and a fourth generation business providing a wide variety of services.
For years, our focus has been providing general equipment repair and prompt service to the manufacturing, aggregate, and construction industries, just to name a few. We are always on call, seven days a week, twenty four hours a day, including holidays. We have the right machinist / welder and the right equipment to accommodate any kind of situation, on or off site.
Our facility provides approximately 30,000 square feet devoted to machine shop space. In addition, we also have a 7,000 square foot welding shop and a 3,000 square foot building for the purposes of housing steel and other materials. This facility gives Industrial Machine over 40,000 square feet of space to accommodate the specific needs of our customers.
